Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Important: Slide Token (SLD) is a utility token of the SlideMe App ecosystem. It is not a security, equity interest, debt instrument, investment contract, or financial product. Nothing on this site or in the Services constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("user", "you") and SlideMe Digital LLC, a subsidiary of SlideMeApp, Inc. ("SlideMe", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the SlideMe App, the Slide Token (SLD) token utilities, our website, APIs, smart contracts, interfaces, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Definitions

  • SLD — the Slide Token utility token issued on the XRP Ledger.
  • Wallet — a self-custodied or third-party non-custodial wallet you control.
  • Ecosystem — the SlideMe App and any features, integrations, or partner services that interact with SLD.
  • Content — any text, media, code, or data made available through the Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into binding contracts. You must not be a resident of, or located in, any jurisdiction in which use of the Services would be unlawful, nor appear on any sanctions list maintained by the U.S. government or other applicable authority.

4. Nature of SLD — Utility Token, Not a Security

SLD is designed solely as a utility token to enable functionality within the SlideMe ecosystem, including creator engagement, peer-to-peer interactions, community rewards, and platform utility functions. SLD:

  • Confers no ownership, equity, dividend, profit-sharing, voting, or governance rights in SlideMe Digital LLC, SlideMeApp, Inc., or any affiliate.
  • Is not offered or sold as an investment and carries no expectation of profit derived from the efforts of others.
  • Is not a deposit, money-market instrument, or claim against any entity.
  • May fluctuate in value or lose value entirely; you should not acquire SLD for speculative purposes.

5. Accounts and Wallets

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Wallet, seed phrases, private keys, and account credentials. SlideMe does not custody user funds and cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, or restore access to compromised wallets. Any activity occurring through your Wallet or account is your responsibility.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
  • Engage in money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, or tax evasion.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or underlying infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with other users' access.
  • Misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or violate the rights of any third party.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Services except via authorized APIs.

7. Risk Disclosure

You understand and accept that participation in blockchain networks and use of digital tokens involves significant risk, including but not limited to:

  • Volatility: Token prices and liquidity may fluctuate rapidly and unpredictably.
  • Technology risk: Smart contracts, bridges, and wallets may contain bugs or vulnerabilities.
  • Regulatory risk: Laws governing digital assets are evolving and may impact availability or function of the Services.
  • Network risk: The XRP Ledger or related infrastructure may experience downtime, forks, or congestion.
  • Irreversibility: On-chain transactions are generally final and cannot be reversed by SlideMe.
  • Custody risk: Loss of keys results in permanent loss of access to your assets.

You assume all such risks and agree that SlideMe is not liable for any resulting losses.

8. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

All information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only. SlideMe is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, money services business, or financial institution. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial, legal, or tax decisions.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may interact with third-party platforms, wallets, exchanges, or protocols (including the XRP Ledger). SlideMe does not control and is not responsible for any third-party service, and your use of such services is governed by their own terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, logos, branding, software, designs, and content associated with SlideMe, the SlideMe App, and Slide Token are owned by SlideMeApp, Inc. or its affiliates and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services strictly for their intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

11. User Content

If you submit Content through the Services, you grant SlideMe a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your Content does not violate any law or third-party right.

12. Fees and Taxes

Certain interactions with the Services or the XRP Ledger may involve network fees or platform fees. You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes (including capital gains, income, sales, VAT, or similar taxes) arising from your use of SLD or the Services.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure for SlideMe, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, limits of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. SLDME DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR MALICIOUS COMPONENTS.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLDME DIGITAL LLC, SLDMEAPP, INC., AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SlideMe Digital LLC, SlideMeApp, Inc., and their affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

18. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

19. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and SlideMe regarding the Services.
  • Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign freely.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
